Questions
Installations: common questions
Do you install systems you then monitor, or either on its own?
Either. Most clients have Secura install and monitor, because one company then owns the whole thing. But we install systems other people monitor, and we monitor systems other people installed, when that is what suits you.
Which brands do you install?
Ajax wireless systems are our go-to for sites where cabling is impractical. For wired commercial systems, cameras and access control we specify equipment that is supported in Australia, has a track record and will still have parts in ten years. Ask and we will name the options for your site.
Is the assessment really free?
Yes. A site visit, a look at what is there, and a written recommendation and quote. If the honest answer is that your existing system only needs a new communicator, that is what the quote says.
Who does the work?
Licensed security equipment installers. In Victoria that is a legal requirement under the Private Security Act, and the business licence number is in the footer of every page.
